Good Morning!
Going to take a weekend break from my journey and shoot a question out to all of you. I have been amazed at how many of you have taken the time to read my words (which are pretty poorly crafted still) and it is wonderful. So here is my question, what do you guy want to hear about? I am going to continue my journey to where I am now which by the way has LOTS more ups and downs to come. But is there anything specifically you want to know about me and my life? Mistakes I’ve made in business? Mistakes I’ve made in marriage, Mistakes in parenting? I am really good at mistakes! I know we all make them but I feel like I am maybe on the next level of mistake making.
My goal is to share all of these with all of you and hopefully lots more people through the magic of the inter webs! People feel shameful about making a mess of things and then they hide if from the world because the world seems so perfect on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I am sure its perfect on other social media platforms too but I only use those 3. But when you hide it you start to feel all alone, like you are the only one who does what you did. Well I have news, YOU AREN’T!!! We are all so very normal and wonderfully flawed. We all lay awake at night wondering how we can fix that screw up. We cry in our car wondering how on earth we got where we are and why we would let things get that far out of control. Yes! these are things I have done!
Well I am one person that wants to shed light on my misdeeds and F&*K ups (sorry but honestly that’s what some of them are) so that some of you can feel like you have a digital shoulder to lean on. So you don’t feel isolated as you lay down to sleep. At least there is that one guy in Colorado who is a total screw up too.
I am also going to share my big wins and what I believe is the key to freedom from all of that guilt and shame. If you haven’t guessed, its a relationship with God. But it is also necessary to dig out all of the accumulated crap that has built up in your life and show it the light of day. Mistake and screw ups HATE being exposed! You don’t have to start a blog and be all “HERE I AM” like me but find a buddy, or a spouse or little baby pig to talk to.
OK, the pig probably won’t help for real but man aren’t they cute! And I am here to listen too.
